A proper tea
I made the very good decision to schedule our English tea on the day that we arrived. After sleeping only a couple of hours on the plane, I just needed proper pampering and we had reservations at the Park Room at Grosvenor House Hotel.
I’ve never been to Grosvenor House, but it was absolutely perfect for our family. I ordered their special Christmas tea.
They also had a gluten-free afternoon tea for my husband and a kids’ tea for my kids. Everyone was happy! Everything tasted amazing! The staff were so warm and friendly! It was really special.
Check out the amuse-bouche, a fizzy citrus number with white chocolate swirl on top.

Smoked salmon

Clotted cream and jam
Oh yes, and the kids’ tea came with a little stuffed English bulldog (complete with a monocle!) that they could bring home! So sweet!

Ah, what a fabulous treat! Love the sandwich selection on the menu. Actually, who am I kidding, I love all of it!
